Creating Patterns With Block Print

In this 6 hour workshop we'll cover the basics of carving linoleum blocks, focusing on creating connecting and repeating patterns. Print on paper or bring your own textiles and print your images on any cotton surface. T shirts, bolts of fabric, tote bags, pillow cases, etc. The workshop is limited to four participants to ensure plenty of individualized instruction and press time. We'll break for lunch at noon, which can be brought from home or ordered from a nearby restaurant. Inks and 1 linoleum block included. Students will have the option of learning multi block printing and can purchase additional blocks from the studio.
