Learn the slightly lesser known technique of watercolor monoprinting in this 6 hour workshop. By either sanding the plexiglass or coating it with a thin layer of dish soap, watercolor paints are able to sit on the surface without beading off. Create beautiful, velvety effects that can only be achieved with this particular art form. Easy, fun, and completely non toxic, this is a wonderful introduction to mono printing, as well as an intriguing new technique for experienced printmakers looking to learn something new. This workshop is limited to four participants to ensure plenty of individualized instruction and press time. We'll break for lunch at noon, which can be brought from home or ordered from a nearby restaurant.
