In this 6 hour Monoprint Workshop we'll cover the basics of working with oil based inks on plexiglass to create self assembled still lifes. Bring your own objects from home to assemble and work from, or find inspiration around the studio and sanctuary. Focus will be on ink application technique, positive and negative space, color mixing, and working back into the plate a second or third time after printing. The workshop is limited to four participants to ensure plenty of individualized instruction and press time. We'll break for lunch at noon, which can be brought from home or ordered from a nearby restaurant. All materials included.
