Choose any three dates and purchase classes in packs of three. Learn a variety of etching techniques over the course of 3 or more classes. Each student will have the opportunity to start at the beginning with a simple line etching, applying hard ground, acid bath, and using the press. We will have the option over the course of several classes to learn different techniques such as aquatint, spit bite, chine colle, and multi plate color etching. Students of all abilities welcome. Join a welcoming, supportive, friendly community of like minded people, share ideas, and enjoy the beautiful space and facilities. Class size limited to 4 to ensure that everyone gets plenty of press time and individualized instruction. Paper and ink included. 4" X 6" copper plates are available for purchase for $15 at the studio.
